People's Forum implemented the Mobile Medical Unit Project with the support of Annapurna Finance Pvt. Ltd. In India 60% of population lives in rural areas with limited access to healthcare facilities. For many family's healthcare expenses are not affordable. Therefore, our goal is to provide primary healthcare facilities including medical consultations, diagnostics and treatment across the target village. The van is serving as the mobile unit, equipped with basic drugs, consumables, medical equipment, infection control measures, communication materials etc.
