The idea was to raise confidence, improve productivity, and provide direction through proper skill development. Skill development enabled the youths to secure employment. Developing skills at a young age, right at the school level, was considered essential to channelize them toward appropriate job opportunities. A balanced growth across all sectors was emphasized, and equal importance was given to all jobs. Every job aspirant received training in soft skills to lead a proper and decent life. Recognizing the need of the hour, People's Forum initiated the Youth and Skill Development program. It began with the goal of creating opportunities, space, and scope for the development of youth talents and fostering skills essential to sustain in a highly competitive world.
