Nelson Vinod Moses is an award-winning mental health journalist whose writing has appeared in Fortune, Forbes, The Times of India, Quartz, Business Standard and Huffington Post. He set up Suicide Prevention India Foundation in September 2017 because he lost his best friend to suicide. Other than suicide prevention training, Suicide Prevention India Foundation organizes talks and workshops and has recently begun research initiative.

Dr. Anish V. Cherian is Assistant Professor of Psychiatric Social Work at NIMHANS, Bengaluru, India. His areas of research interest include public mental health, suicide prevention, stigma and OCD. He has funded project from Department of Science and Technology (DST), Indian Council of Social Science Research, Fogarty International (University of Florida) and co-investigator for Wellcome trust (University of Edinburgh) and Medical Research Council (King’s College, London UK) funded grants. He has published in national and international peer reviewed journals and is reviewer for various international journals. He is the member of International Association of Suicide Prevention (IASP).

Aparna Joshi is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Human Ecology, Tata Institute of social sciences (TISS) where she teaches students for Masters and MPhil level Courses in Applied psychology. She is practicing as a psychotherapist for more than 20 years. She works with various NGOs addressing issues of mental health and psycho-social well-being. She has been involved in envisioning and implementing mental health service programs in clinical, community and institutional settings and in training of different stakeholders on issues of mental health and counselling.

Johnson Thomas - Founder/Director AASRA- A emotional support service for the depressed and the suicidal started in 1998. He is a counselor, social worker/TA Practitioner/ Hypnotherapist/ Writer, Journalist/Editor, Film, Book, Theatre, Art, Music, Culture Critic.

Manoj Chandran is the founding CEO of the organization White Swan Foundation for Mental Health, Bangalore. He has more than 25 years of experience in a wide range of areas that include journalism, communications, marketing, strategy and leadership. Manoj has served as a leadership group member of Ashoka Innovators for the Public and headed the corporate marketing function of a leading IT company. As a journalist, Manoj has had his stints at The Times of India and CyberMedia India Online.
